I should start by presenting the Nokia E6. This phone is the successor of the Nokia E5 and it comes with many improvements including a new operating system, an 8-megapixel camera and a touchscreen that works perfectly. The exterior design is highly appealing and not only because of the full QWERTY keyboard available but also because of the lush metal bezel and the direction pad. The display is not that bad either, because it’s made of Gorilla Glass and it comes with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. The only downside is its size – only 2.46 inches. As OS the Nokia E6 uses a modified version of Symbian3 that’s generally known as Anna. The overall user experience offered by this OS is of quality. The only problem is the 600MHz processor that cripples the experience. However, the E6 can be considered an improvement over the Nokia E5.

Also available in 2011 for Nokia fans is the Nokia C7 Astound. This is actually the first Symbian3 device that is being made available by a major US phone carrier. We are talking about a slim phone that makes the combination between plastic and metal look attractive. The rounded back also helps classify it as a pocket friendly device. The screen measures a decent 3.5 inches and offers a resolution of 640 x 360 pixels. It’s not a bad display but it lacks many of the advantages offered by other smartphone screens. For some of you the camera might be able to compensate because it offers a resolution of 8 megapixels and an easy-to-use menu that will help you enjoy taking quality pictures in all conditions.

I must also mention the Nokia E73 that comes with a sleek design and a QWERTY keyboard you will love to use on a daily basis. It’s true that in terms of design the Nokia E73 is similar to the E72 but it has friendlier dimensions that make it a desirable smartphone. The display is more on the small side because it measures only 2.4 inches while the user interface is almost identical to that of the E72, because the same S60 platform is used. What’s also nice about this phone is that it comes with quality messaging capabilities and a wide variety of wireless options. Ovi Maps are also useful for navigation purposes.
