Mobile Phones Of The Past
In order to speak of the Mobile Phones of the Past, we should speak of the Motorola Dyna TAC mobile phones. They were the mobile phones of the ’80. They were huge, better said, they were true rocks. People couldn’t take with them these special devices because of their weight. Although they were quite heavy these devices were expensive. One such device used to coast $3995.
1983 was an important year because it was approved the first Motorola Dyna TAC 8000X. Once this special device was launched on the market more and more people wanted one such device. The only inconvenience was that they were quite heavy. They’ve represented a true technological invention for the experts, but people were quite disappointed because of its dimensions. There were several versions of this Motorola Dyna TAC but they all had the same problem: its dimensions. That was the main reason, beside the fact they were quite expensive, that people didn’t buy them.
Since 1983, there were launched several models of mobile phones. What’s the main reason we buy mobile phones? They want a device which can help them make all the calls they want wherever they are, to take all sorts of pictures, to play different games, to listen music and many other things. But this happens today. Years ago, mobile phones didn’t used to incorporate such an advanced technology and the main reason why people bought mobile phones was because they had the chance of having a portable device. They could do all the calls which they normally used to do thanks to the landline phone.
Once Motorola has invented the first portable device, many other famous mobile phone brands launched one such portable device. The first which tried to offer one such device was Nokia. People loved the mobile phone which Nokia launched on the market and why wouldn’t they? It was the first device which they could freely take it with them. It wasn’t heavy and this was a great advantage. That’s to this aspect there are many people who think Nokia it was the brand which launched on the market the first portable device, but it wasn’t Nokia. Motorola was the mobile phone brand which launched the first mobile phone.
