You will also have to make sure that the phones you want to be able to locate are compatible with the service and specify them when requested.

You will then have to take care of the app that you need to install on the targeted phone. The first thing you need to do is gain access to the targeted phone and then visit the Media Center in order to become able to browse and download an application. You will then have to press 1 in order to access the “Get New Application” option. Afterwards, you will be able to locate the “Family Locator member” app and press OK. In the next step you will have to press OK once again in order to enable your subscription to the service and start downloading the app of interest. You will then have to press OK in order to open the app and use the phone number and the password that you’ve used to create your online account for the purpose of logging in. If the phone you are trying to set up and pair with this location service is an Android phone, in order to start using the app mentioned you will have to use different steps. First of all, you will have to access the Android Market app from your phone and select the tab that says Verizon. Then, you will have to select the app called “Family Locator”, confirm the installation process and use your online credentials to log in.
