I don’t know a person who hasn’t had Nokia mobile phones. They are the best. At least that is what people say and if you didn’t know Nokia is placed on the first place in the top of the best top ten mobile phones. Nokia is the best, no one could deny this. I personally had and still have Nokia mobile phone. It’s the best mobile phone. Many of us think that the first mobile phone was a Nokia one, but they are wrong. The first mobile phone was a Motorola one. The first Nokia mobile phone was the first usable mobile phone. Its dimensions were normal if we compare it with the Motorola mobile phone’s dimensions. That’s why people bought it, because they could take it with them, thing which didn’t use to happen with Motorola mobile phones. They were so heavy and expensive that people didn’t buy them. But there aren’t so many people who know the History of Nokia Mobile Phones.

As we all know Nokia is the leader of the mobile phones producers. Although Nokia wasn’t the brand which first invented the mobile phones, has become the synonym of elegance, quality and durability. If it wouldn’t be like this, Nokia mobile phones wouldn’t be as famous as they are. Nokia has representative devices for every segment: entry, level, mainstream and high-end. Nokia mobile phones are the most famous devices form the entire world and that’s happening thanks to an excellent market strategy.

But what mobile phones made Nokia as famous as it is today? First we should talk about Nokia 5110, which is known not just by the young ones but also by the elderly people. It was launched in 1998 and it has a standard technology it doesn’t present all the actual gadgets. It presents an intuitive menu, big buttons and the Snake game. This device is a rarity. I don’t know a person who still has it, but when it was launched it was a true technological invention. Another popular device, maybe even popular than the first one, is Nokia 3310. This device was mostly appreciated by the men. It was the first device which had two important characteristics: small dimensions and aspect.

Nokia 6310 was one of the most popular Nokia devices. It was mostly used by the business people. 2003 was significative for Nokia. It produced Nokia 6230, the dream of every Nokia consumer. It was the first Nokia device which presented high technology. It had: Bluetooth, a display with 65 000 colors, EDGE technology, video recording, MP3 player, radio and many other gadgets. If we compare them with the actual trends we are tempted to say that they aren’t as advanced as one may think, but in that period having one such device was a luxury.

2005 was an important year because it had launched the exclusivist series of 88xx. Nokia 8800 was presenting the same design line as the Nokia 8850 and Nokia 8890. This exclusivist series presents 7 models: 8800, 8800 Sirocco, 8600 Luna, 8800 Arte, 8800 Sapphire Arte, Carbon Arte and Golden Arte. They are impressive thanks to its design and thanks to the materials which were used.
