Mobile Phones And 3G Technology

To understand better the statement of “mobile phones and 3G technology” we must understand what 3G means and then talk about the phones that are equipped with such kind of technology.
3G or 3rd Generation is the abbreviation from International Mobile Telecommunications and means that if you have 3G technology incorporated in your mobile phone you can make voice and video calls all over the world, and to browse over the Internet at a higher speed. Comparing 3G technology to 2G we will see that the speed of the 3rd generation is much higher and efficient.

The possibility of watching TV on your mobile in one of the many advantages that 3G technology has to offer. Other great things that 3G technology has to offer is the possibility of making a video conference, to talk with a friend or to many friends in the same time that are situated at a large distance from you and you can even see their faces and smiles. The only condition to do this is that you and your friends have a performant mobile phone.
Some of the advantages that 3G offers are the possibility to watch TV on your mobile device, to make a video conference or even to get your current location. The introduction of General Packet Radio Service or in its shorter name GPRS, was the first big step in the transition from 2G network services to 3G. The services that GPRS provides are the medium speed in all of its offered services. This services can be a wireless connection, multimedia messages, sending emails, or just web browsing.
Once with the apparition of 3G technologies, the networks capacities and services gained speed and efficiency.

Lets see now the mobile phones and 3G technology network. To have 3G services, you must have a good mobile phone preferably a smart phone that offers you many benefits. Using such a phone you can surf the Internet very quickly, send emails, and send or receive video calls from different people. Having a video call means that you can see the other persons face it he can see your face too but making possible a video call you are required to have a mobile phone which has two cameras, each one on the both sides.. on the back and front. When you make a video call you must use the front camera which is specially made just for this.

In the present, almost all mobile phone users have one or more mobile phones and 3G technology equipped on them because of the worlds globalization and the need of people for more and more communication between each other even though they are in the other part of the world. Having a mobile phone is good but having one with 3G and internet services active is great.

Mobile Phones 3G

3G or 3rd Generation is the abbreviation from International Mobile Telecommunications and means that having 3G technology incorporated in your mobile phone you can make wireless voice and video calls, and to send and receive data. Comparing 3G to 2G we can observe that the 3G network speed is higher and more efficient.
Some of the advantages that 3G offers are the possibility to watch TV on your mobile device, to make a video conference or even to get your current location. 2G networks were built mainly for voice services and slow data transmission. The introduction of General Packet Radio Service or in its shorter name GPRS, was the first big step in the transition from 2G network services to 3G. The GPRS could provide medium speed in its services like wireless connections, multimedia messaging services, and for Internet communications services like email and the World Wide Web access.
3G technologies enabled faster data-transmission speeds, greater network capacity and more advanced network services. The first pre-commercial 3G network launched in May 2001 by NTT DoCoMo in Japan. The network was branded as FOMA. Following the first pre-commercial launch, NTT DoCoMo again made history with the first commercial launch of 3G in Japan on Oct. 1, 2001.
Nowadays, technology wants to advance to 4G networks, an extension of 3G. This extension is called Long Term Evolution and Ultra mobile Broadband. The first 4G services were offered at the end of the year 2009 in Stockholm, Sweden and Oslo, Norway.

Mobile Phones + 3G Technology
Published by mobilephones, on February 11th, 2010, in the categories: 3G
3G Technology (3rd Generation Technology) first appeared in 2001 in Japan and was launched by NTT DoCoMo. The 3G technology comes as a response to humankind`s continuous hunger for more advanced and able technology, that will allow a much faster transfer rate and a easier and more natural communication style, allowing the user the freedom to surf the internet for the latest news, information, to communicate with friends, family, partners, co-workers and so on. Also it is an excellent tool to update public profiles such as Twitter, Myspace and so on, because of the all new easy access websites that have appeared in the last couple of years, as a response to technology`s burst and continuous upgrade. The 3G is the third generation of mobile phone technology, after the 2G Technology.
The 3G service has the unique capacity of transferring 2 types of information at the same time: voice and non-voice, as for example a data transfer like for example electronic mail, instant messages, web browsing and so on. 3G uses a different radio frequency from the 2G technology, requiring a whole new network and brand new authorizations.
In the United States of America, operators are still using 3G technology on 2G frequencies, their goal being to introduce the new technology step by step, not hazarding themselves into spending a huge sum of money from one go.

Besides 3G technology, 3GPP (3rd Generation Partnership Project) was invented, it being a collaboration between associates and telecommunication groups in the purpose of common standard which had to respect the ITU (International Telecommunication Union) recommendations. 3GPP is based on GSM specifications and it is referring at the radio transmissions architecture, central network ( core network ) and service for the UMTS standard.
Here is a preview on how the 3GPP actually works:
The 3.9G is a standard 3G based technology used in mobile phones but with capabilities close to 4G. It's stipulated that it will be appearing on the market this year. It will allow data transfer close to optical fibre cables, that meaning the insane amount of 100 megabits/sec! This thing is possible thanks to the new telecommunication system LTE ( Long Term Evolution ), which expands the variety of frequencies by almost 10 times comparing with the ones used last year in mobile phone networks, which will eliminate the congestion in data transfers. Therefore, a mobile phone will have 4 antennas, comparing to one which are used for mobile phones using 3G.

The system also changes the way that the data transmission is allocated. In 3G technology, where data and software are stocked on servers that have an internet connection, users downloading what they want only, when they need it. So thanks to this new technology, users save time and money, and are capable of enjoying a much better and pleasurable experience in using their mobile phone, and in finding out what interests them, what matters the most and the latest news feed!
The Jappanese company NTT DoCoMo will introduce the 3.9G system this year.
